Quarter Circle Crosses Ranch is located at Volborg in southeastern Montana on 4800 acres in the heart of cattle country. Clint was raised in southeastern Montana on a cattle ranch where his family used Quarter horses, with lines stretching from Texas Dandy to Peppy San Badger. Lana was raised in Saskatchewan, Canada on an Arabian horse farm and grew up showing Arabians in open shows and on the Canadian Arabian show circuit.

When Clint and Lana married, they moved back to Clint’s roots and pursued their dream of operating a working cattle ranch. Running over 200 head of Red Angus cattle, this was the perfect setting to raise Quarab horses, which started as a compromise of Lana’s love for the Arabian Horse and Clint’s love for the Quarter Horse. Little did they know that this compromise would result in the perfect horse to go from ranch to arena.

The first step to achieve the perfect horse was acquiring their Quarter Horse cremello stallion, Skip’s Cream Supreme, an intensely linebred Skipper W stud that they use to breed with purebred Polish bred Arabian mares. Quarter Circle Crosses Ranch’s breeding program brings together the best combination of a cremello stallion bred to bay or chestnut mares that will produce eye catching colored Half Arabian horses that are show quality, as well as all around trail and working horses.
All the performance horses are used outside the ring by working cattle on the ranch or being ridden on the trail. The gentle disposition and trainable minds that these Quarabs possess make these horses excel in any performance division that they are used in. They truly are the “Versatile Breed”.
